MI RANCHO SILVER 100% AGAVE TEQUILA WINS IN INTERNATIONAL SPIRITS COMPETITION
Today the 2016 Los Angeles International Spirits Competition announced its medal winners for its 2016 competition. Among them was the new and exciting spirit known as Mi Rancho Silver 100% Agave Tequila. There were 401 spirit entries from 149 Producers representing 29 different countries worldwide. Mi Rancho Silver Tequila competed against the likes of Familia Camarena Tequila and its third generation master distiller Carlos Camarena, a respected figure in the tequila industry. Additionally, Salvador Rivera Cardona master distiller for the second-generation family owned Azuñia Blanco Organic Unaged Tequila brand was another of the formidable competitors that Mi Rancho Silver 100% Agave Tequila faced in the tasting competition. Among the Mexican tequila entries Mi Rancho Silver 100% Agave Tequila competed among its contemporaries strongly and walked away with a bronze medal in the Silver/Blanco designated tequila category. The same bronze medal was awarded to the Familia Camarena brand and the Azuñia Blanco Organic Unaged Tequila brand respectively. The ultra top shelf brand known as Grand Mayan, a brand exclusively carried by high-end retail establishments drew a bronze medal in the silver/blanco category as well. Mi Rancho Silver 100% Agave Tequila entered the competition as an unknown and competed strongly and as an equal amongst nationally known brands and producers here in the United States. Designated industry professionals that represent all aspects of the spirits industry performed the judging in the competition.
